Slim’s Claro TV begins satellite services in Puerto Rico

The service offered by Claro TV counts with channels in both English and Spanish as well as Pay Per View

Puerto Rico Telephone Company (PRT), an affiliate of America Movil in Puerto Rico operating under the brand name Claro TV, began to offer satellite television services (DTH).

According to the website NexTV Latam, the service offered by Slim’s company counts with channels in both English and Spanish as well as Pay Per View (PPV) with special events and adult contents.

Likewise, they will offer two kinds of set-top-boxes: SD or HD with DVR. The later allows to record up to 360 hours.

Las July 15, 2009, America Movil got the license to offer DTH from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) that regulates communications in U.S. and Puerto Rico. (El Semanario Agencia, ESA)
